Why We Do This
Security breaches, Cyber attacks, and recent high-profile hacks have increased concerns about security, safety, and privacy. Our program is intended to allay many of those concerns by providing useful, current information and practical preventive measures to engage and empower listeners. Topics covered in the program are universal and relevant addressing issues such as Identity Theft, Medical Data Privacy, Infrastructure Protection, Domestic Counterterrorism, and National Security that impact everyone.
Our goal is to make listeners aware of threats and provide information about how to avoid them, the resources available to mitigate them and how to access these resources. At the end of each program, listeners should be able to identify threats, recognize suspicious activity, and know what action to take to avoid being exploited. Those who may have already been compromised will know what steps to take to mitigate damage and prevent future incidents.
